Game recordings

If you have the ttyplay program on Linux, or termplay on Windows, you can watch recorded ChessRogue games (and record your own with ttyrec or termrec respectively).

If you record anything interesting, please email it in to the address below (or attach it to a Sourceforge feature request if you prefer) with some comments.

Tutorial recordings

Just pawn capturing for the moment - since once you have the pawn power it gets easier to work out the rest. Ask if you'd like one for another piece or situation, though.

• Capturing pawns: this recording shows a few of the common techniques to make pawns obstruct each other and capture them. It was recorded on the now very old version 0.1.1, but the techniques involved don't change for pawns.
